Oral Medicine Specialist
Lara is a registered Dentist and Oral Medicine Specialist under the Dental Board of Australia and AHPRA. Lara completed a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Oral Medicine) and PhD in 2020. Lara is a Fellow of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia and her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.
After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2010 Lara worked for one year as the Alfred Hospital dental resident treating medically compromised patients and patients with bleeding disorders. Since then Lara has worked in both public and private dental practices.
Lara is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia and the European Association for Oral Medicine. She also currently works as a casual lecturer, demonstrator and examiner for the Melbourne Dental School.
